Holidays at the Resort can be quite exhausting for pets simply because there is a lot going on. At high quality pet care facilities your pet may have a difficult time getting regular sleep; there is sooooo much to do! There are people around and fun to be had. If you pet is eligible to have time our Zoom Room and go on walks, play in our outdoor paddocks and enrichment field they may even come home exhausted. So, bottom line is the stimulation is very different to being at home. The normal activities of the team members at The Paw will include housekeeping, cleaning, feeding, medicating, caring, bathing and grooming. All these activities can attract high levels of excitement amongst guests.

The analogy we like to make is sending your fur-kids to The Paw Resort is rather like sending your children off to school camp. They can arrive home tired, cranky, thirsty and hungry. You, as their pet parent will just need to put them to bed and feed them some home cooked food…. Most dogs and cats, in a pet boarding environment, do not lose weight because they are being under-fed. It is more common for cats to lose weight so always make suggestions to us of what types of food your pets loves and we will try to make correct choices
